Greatness isn’t becoming famous, or wealthy, or the best in your field. It’s becoming the best possible version of yourself — which is harder, because it never ends.
There are those unfortunate souls who are born into fame and fortune. For the rest of us, we wake up, say a prayer, and hustle.
The questions

What am I learning?
Every day brings more opportunity to learn than you can hold. Make it the rule that you learn something meaningful, and the exception that you don’t.
- PRAY
What relationships am I developing?
Three relationships: with yourself, with God, and with others. Be thoughtful, careful, and intentional about all three.
- HUSTLE
Who am I becoming?
What you learn should change you. The people in your life should change you. There is no shortcut for the work of becoming.
- MEASURE
Whose life am I blessing?
Greatness is not changing THE world. It is changing SOMEONE’s world, for the better.
In all these things, am I pointed to Christ?
Not a fifth item beside the others. The frame around all four.
Everyone already has an answer to each of these, at every moment. Sometimes the answers are poor and sometimes they’re great — but there is always an answer. The work is making them good ones.
